added pet....

I know, it's a llama, but they don't have alpacas yet (drool) and if you have speakers/sound capability, and you mouse on his head, he sort of hums....

I gotta get busy, and add some links to stuff... and add some links to groups that don't have blog buttons.... and maybe add links to blogs I like.... and .... LOL.... not to mention, take a bunch of pictures of my projects that I made years or months ago, that I still have.... I've made stuff and given it away without taking pics, and I have pics I took with old fashioned camera, that are like family shots with my work in the background or whatever - or Christmas pics of gifts I've made... that I should hunt up and scan....

So much to do, so little time....

And I guess no progress pics from tonight, 'cause I'm here playing on the 'puter 'stead of knitting or crocheting or quilting or....

Oh, well.... tomorrow is another day :)

I forgot....

I mentioned my obsession with posting pics of my dishcloth after each day's clue.... so, now I can finally manage to move from day five to day six... everyone else is finished theirs....

Ok, now here's the kitty close up - you'll have to read the post below this one for the rest of that story, lol....

Pictures :) :) We got Pictures!!!!

Ok, I joined another ring - the Mystery Shawl Ring!!! So, guess I better post about how I am finally up to round 45 of the MS3..... and here's a picture:

The pic ain't the greatest, it's still on one of my smaller circular needles, but you can really see the pattern shaping up!

Pi - Ok, the anniversary Pi is nearing completion. I remembered my count wrong when I posted the other day - it wasn't 40 times two repeats, it was 40 repeats to go. Now, I'm down to.... Uh, just a sec....I have 19 repeats to go on the edging!!!! Then, I have to figure out how to graft the edge together (why didn't I do a provisional cast on???? It occured to me about two rows into the start of the edging, I could have handled frogging that much - I mean, really, we're talking, what, twenty five, thirty stitches at that point???? ) Anway, here's the pic:
Ok, I edited the picture, and moved the ball of yarn, because the camera showed a rather nasty stain I hadn't noticed in the carpet before..... The joys of having an older cat with a delicate stomach.... Sorry, I know, too much information.... would "hairball" have been a better way to put it? Or should I have just not said anything?

Fine - on to more "happy" topics....

Next up, series of pictures of the finished gift. I bought dish towels, three hand towels, and a pair of potholders. I also bought some co-ordinating yarn..... Came up with two knit dishcloths with watering cans on them (the recipient and her mother both said they had never seen dishcloths with pictures in them before....), and I cut one of the hand towels in half, and crocheted back and forth across the top, decreasing as I went, and made the towel toppers, and I got some plastic canvas nylon from my stash and made a soft scrubby. (just some rows of sc with some bobbles interspersed....)

And you can see my nosey inspector, too.... Always need to be involved in everything I do.... But she is just so sweet about it :) If only two legged children had as much interest in household chores as two of my four legged children.... If only they could actually HELP instead of just get in the way.....LOL....

Kitties in a Row afghan. I've wanted to make this since I first saw it way back when in a library book, when I first learned to crochet, and was looking for things to make.... I thought it was beyond my skills, so it went in the "to do one day" file.... Then, along came the internet, and I saw it off and on over the years while browsing.... but of course, by then, I had so many in the to do file, and in the WIP pile, not to mention a good healthy start on a UFO pile.... So, I was really really happy when it turned up as a "Crochet along" project..... Hm... I need to see about getting a button for that..... Anyway, here's how far along I am (it's supposed to be finished this month - well, that won't happen, but I won't let it migrate to the UFO pile... It's about time I made me an afghan again, so that is what this one is destined to be....) and a close up of the fleck yarns I picked up....

Ok, it isn't letting me upload the close up.... don't know why..... wonder if there is some limit on how many pics you can load a day? Or per post? Hm....

Well, I will post, I promise....

Oh, I almost forgot!!! Over at the Ez as Pi group, there is going to be a new knit along!!! It's starting the middle of April, so I should have no trouble finishing the anniversary Pi and being ready, lol.... And it is so exciting!! :) I'm really looking forward to it.....

Remember those neat books, those "choose your own adventure" books? I don't know if there are still new ones out there - been a while since I paid that close attention to kid's books - well, older kids' books.... Anyway, you read, then when you get to the end of the page, you gotta decide between two or three things, then you read the page number based on that decision? Well, there is going to be a "Mystery Choose Your Own Adventure Pi" shawl knit along! You'll get to choose between different lace patterns for each section!! I can hardly wait.... I think I might even have some yarn I can use - I picked up some brown laceweight yarn from a thrift store.... a nice looking brown.....

I'm so excited!!!!

No Pictures today....

Although, I will take one later :) I finished the gift project. Two dishcloths knitted with a watering can, two towel toppers crocheted sort of my own design - nothing fancy worth writing down. More of a "formula" method. I cut one of the three towels I bought in half, hand basted a hem on the cut edge, then using a smaller steel hook, I made three sc to "lock in" the corner, then sc'd across, then 3 sc at the last corner. I tried to space evenly and equally, and didn't do too badly - I had 55 on one, and 57 on the other. So, I then switched to a larger aluminum hook, (F) and did a row of sc, "losing" two stitches on the one towel. I worked a few rows even, the began decreasing at equal intervals. I worked both towels at the same time, doing a couple rows on each, so that I didn't have to write everything down. Finally, I made the "strap" for hanging, and then I made a couple little "buttons".

I worked a bit more on the pi, and did a few more rows of kitties on the 'ghan. But not much else. I was in some "all day" meetings on Saturday - something I get to do twice a year. In preparation for a weekend conference - also twice a year. That will be done in May...

Also, I got a library book on Friday, so I've been reading, too. I have a few favourite authors - this book is by one of them. John Sandford. He writes a series, with the same recurring characters, that starts with "Rules of Prey". All the titles have "Prey" in them.... I'm reading number 17 on the list... "Broken Prey". It's the newest.... I've read the others, too.... Good books. :) It helps to read them in order.

I also like to read the Joe Grey series.... by Shirley Rousseau Murphy. Those for sure have to be read in order. Starting with "Cat on the Edge". A new one is out, but I wait until they come out in paper back, then I buy them. Love those books - I usually find myself crying at the end, though....

Other books/authors I like: I used to enjoy the Lillian Jackson Braun "Cat who...." books, but find the newer ones are more fluff and not much story. I also used to like the Rita Mae Brown Mrs. Murphy series, but they, too are getting too much - romance? I don't like romance much.

Much better are the Midnight Louie series. Carole Nelson Douglas. I have a great deal of respect for that lady. Busy though she is, she still finds time to advocate for kitty rights (supporting no kill shelters) and time for her fans. A great lady.

Terry Brooks is good, too, though I'm not into all of his books. The Kingdom of Landover, and the Knight of the Word are good series, but I just can't get into the Shanara stuff.

Same with Anne McCaffrey. I like the Pern series, and the Acorna books, but am not taken by the others....The Ship or the Crystal singers.... Oh, I *do* like the Botany series....

James Patterson is another good read - the Alex Cross books.

Oh, and I can't forget Michael Crichton. I've read all of his books, too, except "Eaters of the Dead" and "The Great Train Robbery". I've even tried the books on tape of the Eaters, but just can't seem to get past the first few pages.

Stephen King - though I haven't read any of his for several years, now. I still say he's a good author, though. I've heard his later works aren't up to par, but like I said, haven't read any for a long time, so I have to catch up with the ones I have first :)

For humour lovers, there is Terry Pratchett. Excellent books!!! Fantastic wit!! My favourite character is Death. I like the City Watch better than most of the Wizard books, but they're all quite good :)

I probably like and read more fiction, but those are the ones I can think of for right now. I have read some of Susan Connant's work - the dog mysteries, and I did try to read her first cat mystery, but not sure if I like that one.... I didn't have time to read it when I had it from the library, so I'm going to have to try again.

So, that's my post for today. Will take pictures, and share them later this week.

Picture progress

Ok, thought I'd update some pictures....
Plugging away at Pi.... Am trying to work a couple or three repeats of the border each day. Any more than that, and I get bored with it...

Lots of people ask about the yarn I use - this one is a 100% wool from Ram Wools (www.ramwools.com) called "Selkirk". It started out life as white or off white, then got bathed in some strawberry flavoured drink powder, sprinkled with some cherry flavoured drink powder, and then knitted up :)

OK, next I'm going to try to add a pic of the kittens in a row... Now, I just want to say, that I'm also adding to my "in progress" album at my yahoo picture album site - link over there ----> Because there are some glitches happening here....

Now for two doilies - one that I *should* be doing obsessively, and one that is a UFO 'cause it should have been done a month ago....:( The blue one is "between meals doily" and the beige is kitty doily.... (and no comments about the loose bits of dog fur on the carpet - vacuuming is an adventure in this house, where no animal is afraid of the vacuum....)

Ok, progress pics of the MS3:

People ask about this yarn, too. It's called Scheepje's Invicta, and I think it is supposed to be a sock yarn (75% wool, 25% nylon) but I'm loving it for lace. I'm also doing lots of drink mix dyeing of it, too.... :) BUT - the place that I always bought it is closing down. So, I don't know where I'll be able to buy it locally anymore :(

Dishcloth - I haven't been keeping up with knitting on it, 'cause I wanted to take a picture of each day's progress... so, they are somewhere a few days up, and I've only knitted to end of day four.... Besides, I'm also knitting up a couple dishcloths for a gift - a friend's daughter is moving into her first ever apartment at the end of the month, so I am going to crochet some towel toppers, and I'm knitting dishcloths, and I've also crocheted a scrubby. So, here is the group dishcloth, and the gift-in-progress....

Ok, blogger is starting to act up, so I'm going to quit while I'm ahead... BUT - if you want to see the second shot of that pile of "gift" stuff, and a close up of the dishcloth in there - I did upload to the inprogress photo album. I also added a picture to the knitting album over there - I often tell people about an afghan I knitted from Bernat Handicrafter cotton. I just finally took a picture today, and loaded it over there. :) I normally don't like any one of those colours, but for some reason, that combination appealed to me, and I thought it would be cool to paint the interior of the porch on the front of the house in those colours - peach walls, dark brown floor/door (the door is a brown aluminum door already) and sage green window trim. We like to sit out in the porch during the spring/summer/fall evenings. Sometimes, a little extra warmth on bare legs or bare feet is in order - hence the cotton afghan. :)

So, now I can get back to knitting the blue dishcloth, and see how much progress I can make on shawls, gifts, and doilies :) Maybe those two doilies can be my UFO projects for April....

afternoon post

So, the pictures:

The filet crocheted dishcloth. Too open to be a good cloth - but maybe... I haven't used it yet, but it seems to me that there should be more fabric to wash with....

Dishcloth of the month KAL.... I got a button over there ---> we're working on this one:

Darn... won't let me upload... wonder why????

Let's try another then....

Ok, this picture is "Popcorn socks". It's available in the files at the Townsend group - button over there ----> marked "Cascading Leaves" - another pattern available there!! Lots of great patterns available there!!! Lovely socks!

Anyway, the Popcorn socks were a UFO, so I'm really happy they got done!! I wore them yesterday, too... comfy :)

Can I do the shawl picture??? Let's give it a try....

Same picture, more or less, but I took one with the shawl spread out on my coffee table, and the other one, I put paper underneath - wasn't sure which way showed off the stitch and colour better....

Hm. So, my blog doesn't like the dishcloth in progress... hmm.... I'm going to try again....

AH-HA!!!! I just clicked the button, and got an error message - blogger is having trouble, and an "engineer" has been notified :)

Hm... Does that mean this post won't publish???? Uh, oh.....

Bad timing.... but....

I mentioned once before, about how the virus scan on my 'puter starts at 8 am, and interferes with me posting here.... especially uploading pictures... Well, darn it all, if I didn't manage to time it so it is just now 8 o'clock....

I'm going to try anyway. I've been dishclothing - being in a few groups that knit dishcloths. And, I've been working on so many "long" projects - shawls - that having small things like dishcloths that take an hour or two to knit is helping to break up the monotony and possible frustration that could result from forcing myself to make the big things. But, I am making progress on those big 'uns.

So, here's the dishcloths of late:

This one was a double shamrock knit cloth. It has a lace bit up the side. The lace bit was awkward to knit, and really doesn't look all that great, in my opinion. Of course, I'm not a fan of shamrocks, either - but, I did give it a try....

Also, I've never gotten the hang of filet, so when this one came up, I figured, maybe with big hook and big thread, I'll figure it out:

(sigh - well, guess I'll be uploading later today the rest of the pictures....)

Ok, so I gotta go shopping right away, hope to be back by noon, will upload then.... Have to show you my Mystery shawl, my socks which were a UFO, and another dishcloth that is in progress.... I know, I like the quick to finish dishcloths, but it's kind of fun to also do a KAL dishcloth, where we only get a few rows of the pattern at a time. This is one that could almost be worked ahead, but I don't want to do that.... It's also one that I always see, and always think, "I don't need to make that one, I know how to do short rows already, and it doesn't really grab me". But, since I didn't know until I'd gotten into this one exactly which it was, I figured, "why not?". Now, I'm really glad I did - not sure if it is because I am using one of my favourite colours, or if it is because the actual cloth in hand is always easier to see than any picture - but I really really like this pattern.... Oh, I should mention, that today is "day 5" for clues, but since I only craft in the evenings, and since I didn't get on the puter until late last night for yesterday's clue, I've only done up to day 3 so far. Should be caught up quick enough, though....

I know, pictures later.... I promise!!! Besides, if I get off my butt and upload the pictures, then I can delete them off my harddrive.... :) But, I have to buy food, and run a couple errands.

Better update :)

Or people will think I've forgotten.... Which I have, mostly, lol....

Been knitting dishcloths, test knitting some patterns for some new designers in the monthly dishcloth group. Having fun doing that. Also, in the dishcloth of the month group, the picks for this month - working on them. Strange thing - I'm obsessive, so I "have to" knit or crochet whatever the pick is. But, I really don't like shamrocks that much. And, the one pattern, I really don't like at all. The only reason I'm finishing it, is because I didn't really decide how much I didn't like it until I was well into it, and committed. It's got a lace border up the sides. That's the part I don't like. I don't mind knitting it - I like lace. But I don't like the looks of it.

As for the crochet pick - well, two were tied. So, I thought I'd do both, because one of them, I liked anyway, and it was on my "to do" list - fans and pineapples. The other was a shamrock in filet crochet. Now, I've never been able to get the hang of filet crochet. I thought I would give the dishcloth a try, because it would be a "small" filet project (vs a table cloth, runner, etc.) to practice on, and because it would be using much larger thread than most (ww cotton vs bedspread/size 10 cotton) so it would be easier to manipulate....

The verdict: I was happy enough with the result - technically. I do not like shamrocks.... I do not think that this will be a very usable cloth. Too much mesh to really be useful, in my opinion... of course, I haven't used it yet, only just getting it finished the other day, weaving ends last night, and not having taken its picture yet. So, I can't tell for sure, but looking at it... Well, let's just say that I won't be making another filet dishcloth for a while....

I tried to design a dishcloth myself over the weekend - didn't work. Part of it did, but not the other part.... I'm working on it in my head right now....

I've been doing some other "ketchup" work - I have half of my UFO goal for this month complete - last night, finished the halfway mark, and started the second half. Very easy to figure out, since my goal is a pair of socks... grafted the toe on sock one and tucked in all the ends, then cast on and did the cuff for sock two last night. No picture - will do that when I have a pair :)

Finally got around to dyeing the last two skeins of wool for the Pi shawl last night. They are now trying to dry.... I am working on the edging. I have a picture of the edging I chose!! I'm much farther along now, but this pic should be enough to show. It's the same edging from the mystery stole aka Leda's Dream. More info on that pattern at Melanie's blog - pink lemon twist.

Oh, you want to *see* the picture? Ok....

Well, let's see....

Not much else going on.... Finally told DH yesterday the last detail about our dryer's demise two weeks ago.... Don't know why I worry so much about what "might" happen. His reaction was not what I thought it would be. He didn't even say anything after I told him why I didn't tell him. Anyway... I didn't tell him the part about how I had called the Fire Dept, because I thought he'd lecture me about having someone in the house especially the basement which is cluttered.

We've been experiencing a few days of blue sky and sunshine. The trade off is that we also get very cold temperatures. But the sunshine is more than welcome.

Um.... Been busy tidying up the house - that wake up call was really something.... Even if the nice gentlemen from the FD said that the boxes in the basement weren't a fire hazard. They were still an embarrassment to me... and they still need to have something done with them.

I need to do some maintenance on my knitwithcats list.... Need to do some review of my past blog entries.... need to set up that sidebar thing so that I can link to more than just one of my free patterns.... Of course, there *is* only one at the moment.... but if I succeed in fixing the pattern I was trying this past weekend, there will be more to follow.....

So... Hopefully, I will get off my butt, and get some of this maintenance thing done. Oh, and also after that scare, I really need to take advantage of the tools I have - camera, cd burner - and do an inventory for insurance purposes.... Like, in case something ever *does* happen....

Well, looks like the computer is about to start its virus scan, which means - I'm going to sign off here, and will try to post more often.... need to take some more pictures :)

Playing around a bit :)

I have deleted what I had here, because I think it was messing up my blog... I don't like a messed up blog.... I hope this fixes it... if not, then I'm going to be very upset....

I had been to someone else's blog, where they had a map, that showed all the places they've visited, and it was in their post. I tried to do the same.... I kept getting a message that my post wouldn't work, 'cause I'd added the link wrong... I did that on the weekend, and didn't have a lot of time to figure it out.

Today, I looked, saw that the link came up, but not the picture.... the link took me to the picture... but I also see that it messed with my side bar. SO, I came in to edit... deleted the whole thing, and am now writing this.....

I will now publish, and I hope it returns my blog to almost normal..... bad enough that adding the counter messed up my header.... :(

More pictures, maybe some newsy stuff....

Like I was supposed to post the other day.... Oh, well. I think people like looking at pictures more than hearing about my natterings anyway.... lol.

Well, the dishcloth KAL - monthly dishcloth group - button on the right side there ----> somewhere. Finished the other day, but just got around to emptying the camera this morning..

part 5 and completion of cloth or part 6 pictures:

Ok, now for a cloth that I did that was a test pattern:

On the left is the "front" of the cloth, the right hand picture is the "back". I think they both look lovely!!!

Haven't taken progress pics, but my Pi has four rounds of plain knitting, then I start the knitted on edging. I'm not a math person, but there are 576 stitches in each round, and the edging is 12 rows, which take up 6 of the 576 stitches for each repeat...so, let's see.... That's 96 repeats of the edging. I'm not fond of the look of the edging in the book, and someone on the EzasPi group led me to the edging she used, which I think might be more interesting to me.... So, I will probably do that one.... Will let you all know when I get that far :)

I'm also working on some doilies, and a pair of UFO socks. I had started them some time ago, last year, and thought I'd made an error, and frogged them right back, then found out that I didn't make an error - so, I finally got re-cast-on and knitted a bunch. These socks are my UFO goal for March. Hm... I'm not even done one sock, and it's nearly half way through the month.... I guess I better get cracking.....

The doilies - one is on a "time out" right now.... Something about it isn't exciting me the way it did when I started it.... It's for a doily of the month group. The second is one that grabbed me as soon as I saw it, and ended up being chosen for this month's doily of the month - it's a kitty doily, so of course it will be finished, lol....

I should get busy on the other crochet along project - another kitty one that I've been meaning to do for years....Kittens in a row Afghan.

And, finally, while the computer is still co-operating.... My spoiled brats....

We seem to have a very comfy couch....

(no, there is nothing wrong with Spud's eye - she just has a bit of discolouration on her fur)

Where is Bear, did you ask? Well, right here:

And the last of the furbabies, who refuses to get along with the others: Roxy, the old girl, who prefers to steal *MY* spot:

Nothing much to report newsworthy, anyway.... Last week, my dryer died, so I am using the laundromat for a while.... Good for adding to the crafting time....

One of these days, I should talk more about my trip, but really, aside from swimming in the ocean, playing with the dolphins, about all I did was veg on the beach and knit and a little crochet... some reading, had some sudoku puzzles I'd printed from the net.... Drank some Corona.... Which I found out I can buy here at home, too... imported stuff, I like it... :)

Ok, the daily virus scan is happening, and I got some more emails to read, so I'm signing off. :)

Picture Posting Time :)

Well, first - I joined a dishcloth month group - we do a "mystery" knit along - the list mom posts parts of the pattern each day for the first week, and we knit a bit a day.... I've completed part five, but haven't taken that pic yet, but here's the first four parts:

Ok, they didn't line up perfect, but it goes day 1 top left, day 2 top right, day 3 bottom left, and 4 is bottom right.... Tonight, I'll take picture of day five, knit day 6 which is the end, then picture again and try to remember to post tomorrow again. I need to update my photo album, anyway.... :)

Another talented lady on that list designed a cloth as well, which I got to be a test knitter for:

front and back view, of course, complete with helper!!!

After I'm done with this post, I'm going to try again to do the blog button for the dishcloth group.... in case anyone wants to try it out.... nice people....

Ok, next up is a second tote bag. Remember the pink tote bag? I liked it so much I started a second one. Same pattern, same brand of yarn, different colour..... Only....

Well, I do admit that I did another extra round at the top, but I also made the strap a little shorter than the pink ( which is now a bit stretched from use - I haven't felt the need to wash it yet... )

Besides knitting dishcloths, I'm still doing a crochet along.... Kittens in a Row afghan is the project for this month.... I posted last month's projects, the baby sweater and heart doily.... several heart doilies, in fact, lol... This month, an afghan stitch dishcloth was our "stitch to practice" project.... And, I'm progressing on my Pi shawl. Slow slow slow but progressing.

Here's pics of those:

Ok, so, I'll be newsy tomorrow... LOL.... :) Uploading pictures is time consuming!!! And I have to clean my basement - long story, newsy, for tomorrow....

popping in to say hello...

I haven't got any pictures to share. So I haven't updated.... I don't even know how to reply when someone posts a comment, lol....

The comments are automatically emailed to me, where I tend to read them before coming back here, but I can't reply via email. It's an auto generated response thing. So, I tried by adding my comment after another one.... Don't know if it's been seen yet, I'll ask tonight :)

I did appreciate being sent the sink cat link - I've popped in there before, checking it out after dragging myself away from the kitten war site!!! Hey, anyone know what happened to the "stuff on my cat" site? I went to check out new pictures, and it's gone. Probably some misguided animal saviour complained.....

Now, don't get me wrong - I am totally against any form of cruelty to animals. But I happen to have a sense of humour, and none of the pictures in stuff on my cat was in any way harmful to the kitties - humiliating at times, maybe, but not physically harmful. And any of us cat people have laughed at some embarrassing moment by our kitties- I mean, one day, Ashleigh the Klutz was walking on top of our six foot high bookshelf - just like Mica always does, and she walked right off the edge. A quick check to see she hadn't injured herself, and then some chuckling....

Roxy, the old girl, at 18 yrs... recently fell off our TV box - Ok, the TV and the Digital box are on a desk - height of 3 ft maybe? She had taken to sleeping on the box, as it is a warm place.... She rolled over, and right off the desk. Also, only hurt was her pride - and boy, did I ROTFL at her!!!

Ok, so... Updates: I have two blog buttons the same right now....I tried to add a new one, and the way I do it is, I do a "copy paste" of one I already have (and had help adding) and just change the address for the group, and the code for the picture, over at a flickr account... Well, for some reason, it wasn't pasting the picture properly - well, the pic pasted, but kept saying "unavailable" for some reason, and it totally messed up my page (I still don't know why the top headers are screwy - that happened when I added something or other to the side bar... the counter, I think it was....) Anyway, I figured I'd just leave in the "placeholder" of the copypasted already there link. I'll try to change it later.

I didn't take any new pictures, 'cause really about the only thing I did on the weekend was work on projects in progress, and housework stuff. Sunday was our anniversary (29 yrs!!!) and I thought we'd be going out for supper, but we didn't.

I did finish last night a crochet along project - hm, I wonder if there is a blog button for that group? (I'm in 64 yahoo groups right now, being a multicrafter, though some of those are update announcements, like for knitty.com for when they put out a new issue. Active groups - I guess 60) Anyway, the crochet along project was an afghan stitch dishcloth. I would never have thought of using the afghan stitch for a dishcloth - I would have expected it to end up too thick to use. But, it seems to be all right, and I'll test it this week. Better make sure I take a picture first!!! Today is laundry day, so I will be rotating my dishcloth and towels and stuff today. Before anyone panics - yes, I use my dishcloths for a week at a time. We are talking about me here, I don't exactly do a lot of dishes.... I *should* do them at least once a day, but some days, I don't do them at all.... So.... The dishcloths in my kitchen get used at most for 7 loads of dishes. And, if they are particulary yucky, or if I grab a dishcloth to wipe up a spill, they *will* get changed more often. I'm not that bad - pack rat: yes, clutterbug: yes, untidy: yes, organized mess: yes, dirt - NO!!!! NO NO NO NO NO. It may be a mess, but it's a clean mess.

Anyway, I'll try to get a picture of the cloth before I use it.... And, like I said, today is laundry day, my most hated chore. Well, second most - I hate doing dishes the most. And, ( I think I've said it before) it isn't the washing or the drying or the folding etc. that bothers me, just the sorting of the clean clothes. I hate sorting clothes. Don't know why - I know why I hate dishes, but not why I hate laundry.

Oh, and today is the first Wednesday of the month, so I get to go to the knitting group tonight!!! Hope the weather allows it.... "they" are predicting a snow storm, 5 to 10 cms... 2.5 cms is 1 inch, so two to four inches of snow.... Snow doesn't scare me, but we do have one out of town member... Hope she can still make it.... I like her.....
